How to Solve the Problem That the Extrusion Shaft Does Not Move when the Aluminum Extruder Works?

If there is a problem that the extrusion shaft does not move during the production process of the aluminum extruder, it is most likely due to the phenomenon of clamping the shaft. That is to say, in the normal operation of the aluminum extruder, after the extrusion, the extrusion shaft cannot be smoothly returned.

The reasons for this phenomenon are mostly caused by the unclean interior of the aluminum extruder, such as metal debris and peeling and extrusion, the peeling being too thick or the metal residue is caused. If this problem occurs, it can be solved by the following method.

1. The aluminum extruder uses a flange to compress the extrusion shaft. The flange screw can be removed first, the connection between the extrusion shaft and the cart can be disassembled, and the cart can be returned to keep the extrusion shaft in the extrusion cylinder of the aluminum extrusion machine. The equipment that uses a hydraulic cylinder and a special device (such as a chuck) to press the extrusion shaft first unloads the pressure, loosens the special device, and separates the extrusion shaft from the cart, the cart returns, and the extrusion shaft remains in the cylinder.

2. The extrusion cylinder of the aluminum extruder moves away from the die base for a certain distance. Use a crane to hoist a cool ingot (the same size or smaller as the original ingot) to the center of the extrusion cylinder and the die base, so that the two ends of the cool ingot are moved. One end of the end face is aligned with the extrusion shaft section in the cylinder, and the other end is aligned with the die support section.

3. When the aluminum extruder works, prepare two square steel or round steel of a certain size and can withstand a certain pressure (some factories and mines use old lock keys), and lift them to the middle position between the cart and the extrusion cylinder through the overhead crane. Symmetrically lay it flat on the left and right, and use the end face of the cart (the safe end face that is not damaged by force) to abut the two steel blocks or the old lock key on the end face of the extrusion cylinder.

4. Remove the steel block or the old lock key, connect the extrusion shaft of the aluminum extruder to the cart, and return it to its original position. Remove the sundries in the extrusion cylinder, then push out the cool ingot, and continue production after the preparations are completed.

When dealing with the fault of the clamp shaft, pay attention to the parts that are subjected to force, and must be in-plane contact. When the aluminum extruder is pressed upward, manually control the slow upward pressure and control the pressure not to be too high, and observe the movement of the extrusion shaft. If you can't push it, you can't push it hard. After analyzing the problem and taking measures, deal with it according to the above method. If the problem still cannot be solved, you must ask a professional mechanic to repair it.
